We were in Georgia when Mason turned 6 months, so we had his 6-month visit last week (1/9). He weigh in at 20 lbs 2 oz (95th %ile), 29 inches tall (97th %ile), and his head is 18 inches around (95th %ile). He is a big boy! I can't hold him for very long. He'll soon be stretching his 9-month clothes, we have already switched him to an infant/toddler car seat before the Holidays, and lowered his crib last week.
He sits well, but these days he will sit a bit and then launch himself forward to be on his tummy, and roll back and forth. He is really trying to figure out how to crawl, but he only moves backwards. Bill says he will start crawling in 2 weeks, we'll see. His aunt Shawn started walking at 9 months, so it is in his genes. We've scheduled a professional to walk through our house for a childproofing assessment next weekend, just in case Mason gets mobile early.
