We went to Vegas last weekend. It was the first time we were there together. Bill had gone many times with his friends, and I been there with my friends or for work, but never together. We decided to book the trip last month to celebrate our first year as parents, take advantage of having my parents to watch Mason, and our friends Cristy and Juan Carlos were going to be there that same weekend.
It was hot (105-110 degrees hot)! But we were not outdoors for too long, other than in the pool at the Palazzo where Cristy and Juan Carlos were staying. We were too cheap to stay there, although the rooms were beautiful, we couldn't pass up the great deal at the Monte Carlo - more money to gamble, and gamble we did. After 3 casinos, roulette, blackjack, table texas hold'em, paigow, and slots (the odds are so bad that might as well flush your money down the toilet), we ended up only $65 down between the two of us: Cecilia lost about $500, Bill won $435. I'm lucky to bring Bill along to win back what I lost.
