But that is all about to change in the next few months. Heather has accepted a superintendent job in a school district just South of Portland. She and Jamie will be moving there some time in June. It is a great opportunity for Heather and we are happy for her. And she will also be close to her sisters Heidi and Holly and their families, and for us we can visit them all in one stop. But we will certainly miss having them 45 minutes away and be able to get together more spontaneously throughout the year.
Our nephew Edward is turning 26 next weekend. I remember when he was 13 and he would come to spend the weekend with us and play video games. It seems like just yesterday! Well, his girlfriend Johanna is starting medical school at Loyola in Chicago, and they will be moving also in June.
We are excited for the new chapters in their lives, but will miss them!! :-( We will try to fit in as much time together as we can before they move away.
