Let it snow

After the first major snow fall of the season this past weekend, we decided to invest in a snow blower. Our driveway and sidewalks are about 3 times larger than our old house's and it faces North (no Sun to melt the snow). It took both of us a good 30 minutes to clear everything using a large broom and shovel.

Bill was quick to notice the two guys on our street with snow blowers. He looked at their cleared driveways with envy, as we had about 1-2 feet of snow from 5-6 consecutive storms when we first bought the house in January. He slowly cleared the driveway to get one car in at a time (I wasn't much help pregnant). Finally, the last of the snow melted right before we moved in in mid March.

Since we have no plans to move again, we are not getting any younger, and my plan to install giant mirrors pointed at our driveway on top of our neighbor's house across the street is not likely to be well received, Bill went out and got the biggest snow blower he could afford. :-) We are ready. Let it snow!

Here is a picture (notice the Griswolds across the street)
