"Dada" and "Mama"

Mason has been saying "Dada" for a few weeks now, but he is not referring to Daddy, he calls everything "Dada": Sasha, his bottle, his food, the TV, etc... But often he is referring to something he wants, and it is great that he is starting to communicate what he wants. He also says "Mama", and that doesn't mean Mommy either. He seems to say "Mama" when he doesn't want something or is unhappy! Who is teaching this kid?
