My parents got a Wii + Wii Fit for my uncle in Brazil (they are going on 6/15 for 10 days). We figured we needed to do some quality control on the Wii before they left. We first did our "Wii Fitness Test" which shows our "age" based on how we did in the Tennis, Baseball and Bowling test. Let's see:
- Bill (in all fairness he went first) scored a 76 at first, then a 48 the next day
- Helen scored a 53, which appeared for 5 seconds before that was updated to a 73?
- Edward who is actually 20, doubled his age scoring at 41
- Heather scored a 80
- Cecilia scored a 70
- And... Simon, who has not played much video games or played baseball in real life, but hit 4 home runs with one out of the park, scored a 53! Go PaPa Mao!
It has been great fun, and it actually gets us up from the couch. Bill had been saying that "Mason needs a Wii" for a few months now. He may be getting his wish after all, we just ordered our own from Costco this morning.
Helen and Jack won't be here for Mason's 1st birthday. So, we had an early celebration. Jack made a great dinner, the yummiest chicken pot pie which we shared with Mason, and top it off with cake and ice cream.
Moving pictures!
