Almost sleeping through the night

With Mason, we read all kinds of books and took advice on how to get him sleeping through the night. We finally reach sleeping through the night at around 4 months. With Audrey, we took what we had learned with Mason, but took a more relaxed approach to let her dictate when to feed. We didn't have a set feeding schedule, although it stayed at about the same amount of feedings each day. At night, we would let her sleep as long as she wanted or could without feeding. By 6 weeks, she had worked herself into a set schedule of 5 feedings, at night sleeping a 5-6 hours stretch. Yesterday, I woke up at 5:40 am and jumped out of bed thinking "did I not hear her? is she ok?" and woke Bill up to turn on the video on our monitor. She was sound asleep. She finally woke up just before 6 am. She had finished feeding at around 10:30 pm and gone to sleep around 11 pm, so that meant almost 7 hours of sleep! Not bad for 8 weeks.
