Fall Festival at Botanic Gardens at Chatfield

We took Mason and Audrey to the Botanic Gardens at Chatfield for the Fall Festival this past Sunday. Chatfield is about 45 minutes from us and close to Bill's sister Heather's house (Highlands Ranch). We stopped to see Heather for breakfast before meeting Jen, Winston and their sons at the pumpkin patch. It was drizzling when we got there, but the weather improved and stayed dry during our visit. The kids got to run around the kid-size corn maze, went for a pony ride, played in the jumping castles and laser tag (the wait was way to long), got to ride in the barrel train ride (I went with Audrey, because Bill was too tall to fit in the barrel) and finally picked their pumpkins in the pumpkin patch. We all got a tractor hay ride back to the parking lot.
