Thanksgiving

We are thankful for our kids, family, friends, health, our home, our careers, and everything else that enriches our experiences through life.

Bill's dad Brantley and Sandra came to spend Thanksgiving with us this year.  I spatchcocked our turkey, cooking it flat in half of the time, and that turned out great.  We all cooked together and made some simple sides - candied yams, mashed potatoes, brussle sprouts and gravy.  Yummy.  The left over turkey went into Bill's family recipe soup the next day and a turkey pot pie.

The weather was gorgeous and we took family pictures for the Christmas card, got out our decorations and tree.  The holiday season has begun!!

I did yoga everyday during the break, hoping to compensate for the rich and abundant amounts of food.  I'm not sure I've succeeded.
