First week

We had forgotten what it was like to have a newborn. Oh yeah... lack of sleep; feeding, burping, changing every 3 hours; crying (Audrey is louder than Mason ever was).

It is both "better" and "worse" this time. It is better, since we are less freaked out about having a newborn back home. We know how to sooth her and we are better in guessing what is bothering her. It is worse because we also have a 21-month old adjusting to the changes of a new baby sister. Mason is doing well and we've tried to keep him involved in helping with baby sister, but it is still a big change in his previous only-child world. Mom still can't (or it is not supposed to) pick him up after surgery, and Mom is often unavailable taking care of the baby.

Audrey had her first doctor's visit this week. She is doing great. Here are her stats:

Weight: 7 lbs 12 ounces (60 %ile)

Length: 20.5 inches (80 %ile)

Head: 14 inches (60 %ile)

Here are some pictures from our first week.
