My parents went on an Alaskan cruise last week, a trip they booked with friends before we even knew I was pregnant with Audrey. Bill's sister Shawn kindly offered to come spend a week with us to help, meet Audrey and both with the kids. Bill's parents were also here to meet Audrey for the weekend. We spent some family time with Heather and Jamie, had a Mother's Day BBQ at our house, the girls went to high tea at the Brown Palace, but we were not able to fit in the new Star Trek movie. Shawn, Bill and I are all big nerds and fans of Star Trek.
Shawn also helped with a number of house projects. She planted two flower pots for our porch, assembled the changing table in Audrey's room, and installed shelves for Audrey's closet and the coat closet. The closets are awesome! We need to take and post pictures. The coat closet used to be a mess of coats, shoes on top of each other on the floor, hats and gloves, and kids stuff. Now it is all organized in shelves and a door organizer for the kids stuff. Thanks Shawn!
