World Famous Tiny Town!

We went to Tiny Town this Saturday with our friends Cory, Mary and their daughter Ivy. An entire town of small buildings that includes a Home Depot and FedEx store (got to love the Marketing) and two trains that go around the town to the other side of the creek. Tiny Town is about 30 minutes West of Denver up the mountains, and 45 minutes from our home.

The kids had a great time.

Mary is expecting another baby girl this October. So they are always interested to see how parents manage with two little ones. We spent a lot of time talking about the advantages of having a minivan with two little kids, the automatic sliding doors, rear-view camera, DVD-players, Sienna vs. Odyssey, and other features like the automatic trunk and all wheel drive (which we considered, but didn't get and haven't missed). Mary, like me, is convinced that minivans are wonderful! I know Bill has been converted, although he may not openly admit that he loves our minivan. Cory is not convinced, but looked resigned to the fact that Mary is going to get what she wants. :-)
