Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. Our friends, the Forsbergs, joined us for Thanksgiving dinner. Bill's Dad (Yaya) and Mimi were also here. Last year, we opted to go out for Thanksgiving - no shopping, cooking or cleaning. But this year, Jef, who is a chef a WholeFoods, offered to cook. He also did all the shopping and prep work!! The rest of us were happy to help chop, prepare, cook, plate and clean up. It was the yummiest Thanksgiving meal many of us ever had. We even shined the silver and used it for the 3rd time at this special occasion.

We have lots of yummy leftovers for the following days, even after splitting the leftovers 3 ways. Sandra made a delicious turkey soup with turnips, perfect for a cold day. I vote for the Forsbergs coming over every Thanksgiving!
