Portland

We went to Portland to meet with Diana & John, and Yvonne, and Bill's sisters Holly, Heidi and Heather and their families.  After 2 years in a row coming to Denver, Diana & John, Cindy & David and agreed we should explorer a new city.   Unfortunately Cindy took a new job, bought a new house in a new city and could come this year.  The weekend also turned into a celebration for my 40th since we couldn't get together before now.  

We had a great time!  It was great to see all the family, see Heather and Jamie for the first time since they moved from Denver, their new house and new puppy.  

It was great to catch up with D&J and Y, and explore good food - Ox, Pok Pok, Blue Star Donuts, Lucky Strike, Salt & Straw, Olympic Provisions, Ruby Jewel and the endless selection of street food vendors!  My favorites were: ruby jewel and Olympic provisions.  Definitely on the list for our next trip to PDX.
