Fun-packed weekend part 1: Thomas

We had a fun-packed weekend! Started with seeing Thomas the Train at the Golden Railroad Museum on Saturday. This was the last weekend Thomas was going to be in town and I picked up tickets for us a few weeks back. After getting the kids up, dressed and fed, Bill and I left for our weekly Saturday morning circuit training. Ms Cheri came to watch the kids while we were at the gym. We came home for a quick shower and left immediately for the railroad museum (about 30 minutes from us).

We had 11:30 AM tickets to ride on Thomas, but the limited parking at the railroad museums had guests parking about 2 miles away (close to Coors Brewery). They had big coach buses shuttling people back and forth, and they were very comfortable and quick.

The place was packed! There were more things to see and do than we had time for, but we had a great time. And of course, the only exit was through the giant gift shop tent! So, we came home with 2 new trains for the train set.

Here are some pictures.
