Tornados

Proximity to the mountains and thin air make tornados a rare occurrence.  They are much more common in the East part of the state.  But while I was in SF on Tuesday this week at a company meeting, I kept getting tornado warnings on my phone.  Bill assured me that it looked fine in our area, but this is a picture he sent me of the airport that afternoon.  I guess I now know why there are so many tornado shelters at DIA.
