Dragon Boat Festival

I've never been to a Dragon Boat Festival and didn't even know one existed in Colorado. But there is and it was this past weekend: Colorado's Dragon Boat Festival. I found it online while looking for things to do with the kids.

It was a lot of fun and hope to make it an annual event! We went with Jef, Michele and their daughter Josie. We had a picnic of the different foods from the different vendors attending (too much to sample, I hope to have more time next year), check out the dragon boat races and walked around for a little bit. The kids got balloon animals - Mason got a dragon, Audrey a dog and Josie a butterfly.
