A little update on Mason's upcoming surgery - we need to watch what we say in front of him. He may look like he is not paying attention as we talked to each other about his surgery, or describe it to the grandparents over the phone. But yesterday, he told me that the "Pee Pee Doctor is going to cut his penis skin off!"... not quite technically right, but he definitely has followed our conversations!
We had a BBQ for some of my co-workers, and our friend Cristy and her son Santiago stayed to play with Mason the afternoon. When we strolled Santi and Mason to the park, I heard Mason tell Santi that he had an "owie on his pee" and describe his version of the surgery to him. Oh my... what do little boys talk about these days.
